Hey, For now I guess we can use this page to figure out what you want me to do on the wiki,

Just leave me a list of things you need done, and Ill take care of it.

You should now have Admin rights to the page.

How do you add a new entry?

Added Your E-Mail Forward

I added the admin address in c-panel and had it forward to your address

I guess I edited wrong before. I am a little worried about you not telling me a price because I was hoping to get this set up cheap.

To make a new entry

To make a new entry just hit the + at the bottom of the page, type your subject / headline, then type yoru text

I mean in the wiki?

Ok it was pretty easy.

How do I upload an image to the concert review?

Also how come my entry does not show the band name and date in the title like yours?

Your entry doesn't show the name cause you need to put the name in the combo box before you hit Add Concert

and to upload an image just make a link to an image, then click on the link you made and it will allow you to upload an image --MadFrenchie 22:29, 21 November 2007 (CST)

Well Hey Its really late here and I need to get to bed... So Ill talk to you tomorrow, Just make a list at the bottom of this page with more things you need done

who can see this page?

Ok I figured out how to upload an image but it is kinda complicated, is there an easier solution? Can you limit the size of the uploads? And also can people upload huge images and files to my server like this and then hot link them elsewhere?

I like the way this wiki is setup http://music.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page can I have the top part like them? Also they are using the ajax rating mod it looks really good.

There is no way to limit the size of a picture, and thats the only way to upload images at well. No one can link an image from your site to their's and the page you showed me music.wikia.com the top bar is a template of the wikia.com site, you need to be a part of their site to use that template as it is stored on their servers.

Other Stuff

1. Is there a way to move the date over so it is closer to the search box, that way I could put a logo on the black part? Can that be done?

2. Can there be a list of the bands in the column and it updates after someone adds a new review?

3. Can you add that ajax rating modification?

4. What is supposed to go under documentation on the home page (as it relates to my idea)?

5. Can you move the getting help box under the documentation box so it looks more balanced?

6. Can you make this page no longer public so I can start sending some folks here?

7. How can the data be structured? Can it be so people can search by years or names of bands? Can the years be listed in the column too?

8. In the 'add new concert' box can it by default say - "Add Performers Name and Date Here", so folks understand what to do?

9. Can the box for 'about this wiki' go across the top two columns instead of just on one side?

10. Can you install this for me? http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:ShareThis

11. Can I have a gallery page like this http://oberwiki.net/Special:Newimages of all the uploaded images?

12. I would like to show music news via an RSS feed in a box on the main page, will this do it http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/RSS_into_Wiki and can you set that up?

13. Can you add a section on the home page for "Site News"?

14. I would like to have a section for users to post details and rate concert ticket sellers too, can you set that up?

15. Can you add a link to the sidebar that says "Add a concert review'?

thanks Jay
